Endangered Species Observers(ESO), Protected Species Observers (PSO) and Marine Mammal Observers (MMO) EWTS is an approved Protected Species Observer trainer. EWTS certified observers work on seismic vessels and on offshore operations identifying marine mammals and other protected marine wildlife in the vicinity of a range of offshore operations.
Dredged Material Inspectors (DMI) Dredging and the management of dredged material has been an important function of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE) since its inception. The ACOE maintains channels and harbors at appropriate depths for commerce and public safety. EWTS provides ACOE certified Dredged Material Inspectors (DMI) for all ACOE dredging contracts that require at sea disposal of dredged material.
At-Sea Monitors (ASM) EWTS is a NMFS-approved Observer Provider. We are ready to assist the fishing industry, managers, and interested stakeholders in managing the rigorous at-sea monitoring program for sectors in the Northeast. We are poised and ready to help newly forming sectors establish a strong Sector Operations Plan that will be acceptable to the New England Fishery Management Council.
